PyData conferences bring together users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The PyData community gathers to discuss how best to apply Python tools, as well as tools using R and Julia, to meet evolving challenges in data management, processing, analytics, and visualization.
They aim to be an accessible, community-driven conference, with tutorials for novices, advanced topical workshops for practitioners, and opportunities for package developers and users to meet in person.
Participation in PyData Carolinas is possible in any of the following ways:
- Sponsorship: PyData sponsorship has many benefits, including positioning your company at the forefront of the open source Python data community.
- Submit a proposal: Proposals are being accepted through Sunday, July 3 for PyData Carolinas session talks and/or tutorials. PyData welcomes presentations focusing on Python as well as other languages used in data science (e.g. R, Julia). Presentation content can be at novice, intermediate, or advanced levels.
- Early bird registration is available. Take advantage of this rate before it runs out!
